James A. Soltesz Receives Inaugural “Icon of the Industry” Award

January 25, 2019 – Last night, the Maryland Society of Professional Engineers honored James A. Soltesz (Jim) with the “Icon of the Industry Award.” Colleagues, employees, friends and engineers gathered at the Engineer’s Club for the their semi-annual Engineers Cocktail Reception and Awards Night. This event is held to celebrate the newly licensed engineers of Maryland at the historic Engineers Club.

A new element to this event, the Engineers Club presented the “Icon of the Industry Award” which is given to a Maryland Professional Engineer exhibiting longstanding leadership and success in the engineering profession. Jim’s contributions to his profession along with excellence in employee, customer and community relations have proven to be a true icon of our industry.
