Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Largo Hospital

A groundbreaking on November 30, 2017 for a $543 million new hospital in Largo was attended by Maryland and Prince George’s County officials. The Regional Medical Center will be located at Largo Town Center. It will be directly accessible from the Capital Beltway’s (I-495) Arena Drive Exit 15.

Soltesz is honored to be performing site civil services for this new state-of-the-art Regional Medical Center that is affiliated with the University of Maryland Medical System. It will be the first teaching hospital in Southern Maryland that will include a 600,000 SF facility with an 11-story main patient care building, 205 private inpatient rooms, and eight operating rooms. The medical center is expected to open in 2021.
