The Soltesz Survey Team held their annual breakfast meeting this past weekend, with surveyors from each office in attendance. The meeting, led by Jim Soltesz, President & CEO, and Brian Wood, Director of Surveys, provides an opportunity for companywide discussions on safety and training updates. This year’s training topics were the new 2016 ALTA Survey Standards, Digital Levels, and Calibrating GPS to existing site control.

Soltesz is an advocate for employee training across the company, frequently hosting seminars and third party educational opportunities for employees of all skill levels and specialties. Soltesz’s Professional Development Training Program had been approved by the Maryland Board for Professional Engineers’ Continuing Professional Competency Standards Committee.
