Soltesz is very pleased to announce that Ed Carroll, P.E. has been promoted to Vice President and General Manager of the Southern Maryland operations. Most recently, Ed served as Vice President and Director of Environmental Engineering for Soltesz. His leadership skills and brilliant delivery of client services have been outstanding, which led to his promotion to Vice President in 2011. Ed has been with the firm since 2003 and has 30 years of professional experience in the field of civil engineering and land use planning in Charles, Calvert, and St. Mary’s counties. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Urban Planning from Frostburg State University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Maryland. Ed’s project experience is broad based over a wide range of civil engineering projects including industrial, commercial, residential, retail, survey, and municipal land development projects of varying complexity and sizes.
As you are aware, David Cooksey has retired from the firm after 21 years serving as an Officer of the company. He has had a tremendous career in building the Southern Maryland operations, and we wish him all the best. Dave will continue to serve a role with the company as a Consultant, with the title of Director of Strategic Planning and Entitlement.
